Gateway United Continues Preparation For 2019 Bet9ja NNLSeason...... Set For Pre Season Tour

Gateway Utd FC of Ogun State, this Thursday intensified preparations towards the commencement of the 2019 Bet9ja NNL season. The team was earlier scheduled to play a pre-season friendly against Ultimate FC of Lagos on Thursday but was called off as a result of the unavailability of the opponent who couldn't make it to Abeokuta in time for the match. Speaking to the GUFC Media Team after a  training session which saw the team divided into Team A vs Team B match, Coach Akeem Busari said the atmosphere in camp is not too dull or too high. "We're awaiting the congress of the NNL, which means we have to intensify our programmes and go into close camping, also play matches outside Ogun state inorder to change the mentality of the players that we want the NPFL ticket this season". Wasiu Jimoh Targets Kwara United's Scalp

Rivers United's striker Wasiu Jimoh will be playing against his state's team Kwara United today,  6th of February, 2019 in one of the Match Day seven fixtures in Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL billed for Liberation Stadium, Port Harcourt today. The former FC Ifeanyi Ubah striker cum winger who played as a defender for the Anambra warriors last season has charged his colleagues to play the game like Champions League final and come out victorious after the entire duration of the game.
