The Worst Illiterate
Bertolt Brecht remarked that " The worst illiterate is the political illiterate, he doesn’t hear, doesn’t speak, nor participates in the political events. He doesn’t know the cost of life, the price of the bean, of the fish, of the flour, of the rent, of the shoes and of the medicine, all depends on political decisions.
The political illiterate is so stupid that he is proud and swells his chest saying that he hates politics. The imbecile doesn’t know that, from his political ignorance is born the prostitute, the abandoned child, and the worst thieves of all, the bad politician, corrupted and flunky of the national and multinational companies."
At this critical juncture in Nigeria's political life, it is imperative that no one is left in doubt as to the enormous responsibility we all have as political citizens in this oncoming election.
This is not an election to sit on the fence and watch as events unfolds. It is a make or mar year, and so it behoves on us all to stand for and with something. Being an Internet campaigner can only go so far.. Pick a good candidate, make the world aware of your choice go out of your way legitimately by supporting your choosen candidate. Donate! Campaign!! Vote!!! As for me I'm all for GMB. I HOPE WE ALL MAKE SENSIBLE CHOICES. GOD BLESS NIGERIA.
