MFM FC of Lagos played out a one all draw with Niger Tornadoes of Minna in the ongoing Pre season tournament taking place in Ijebu Ode tag Gold Cup Tourney.

While the second match of the between Nigeria National League side Crown FC of Ogbomosho and Lobi Stars of Markurdi also ended in a 1-1 scoreline.

Third game between Two time African Champions Enyimba FC of Aba and FC YOBO does not hold due to logistic reason.

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, Monday evening in Ijebu-Ode, emerged the winner of the maiden Governor Dapo Abiodun Pre Season Tournament. The Ibadan soccer lords, overcame a struggling start to the tourney, held at the Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu-Ode, to pick the trophy, after a hard earned 1-0 win over hard fighting Delta Force. Cup holders Nigeria will defend their Africa U23 Cup of Nations title in Egypt in November after the Olympic Eagles secured a robust 5-0 win over their Sudanese counterpart in the final qualifying leg at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba on Tuesday evening.
