Royal Championship Scouting Tourney Kick Off Tuesday




Scout from German Bundesliga side, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and Young Boys FC Switzerland will storm Lagos for this year's Royal Championship Scouting Tournament.


The 4-day football scout tourney which is in conjunction with Royal Cup of Lagos, kicks off Tuesday at the Lagacy Pitch of the National Stadium, Surulere Lagos by 7am.


Organisers of the tourney Mr Efe Erusiafe from T.Sport Agency , Mr Okaka Harrison  from Football Academy FASA Limited and Mr Nathaniel Olagunju from Liberty Agency Limited informed OwoSports.com that: "This is a  platform for players in these academies to showcase their skills and quality for these scouts from top European clubs.


"Eight (8) top Acadeny teams Box 2 Box FC, G12, Football Fasa, Liberty FC, Bethel FC, Ikon Allah FC, Nath Boys FC and Team 360 FC are taking part in the scouting programme.

"The teams have been divided into two (2) Groups and lock horns against themselves in a league format, as only the best will be selected."

Recall the agency recently  concluded the J. Atete Scouting tournament which was held at the Warri Township Stadium in Warri, Delta State from 6th to 9th of this month.  

Italian scout from Serie A and Serie B sides Fiorentina and Pisa FC were on hand to see the raw talents themselves.

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, Monday evening in Ijebu-Ode, emerged the winner of the maiden Governor Dapo Abiodun Pre Season Tournament. Super Eagles To Play Cameroon And Congo Next Month

Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) president Amaju Pinnick hinted that Coach Sunday Oliseh tutored side Super Eagles will be active on a FIFA international free day next month, by lining up friendly match for the Nigeria Senior team against fellow Africans countries, Congo and Cameroon in Belgium.  ‎ Speaking on Lagos Base Television station, Channels TV Sports program, Sports This Morning, the NFF boss confirmed that the Eagles will trade tackles with Congo in Antwerp on October 8th and slug it out with Cameroon three days later in Brussels. ‎ "I can confirm that we will play against Congo on October 8 in Antwerp and against Cameroon on October 11 in Brussels, " Amaju Pinnick said on Monday.  The Delta State born football administrator Pinnick stated again that Super Eagles will be playing another friendly match against North Africa country either Tunisia or Algeria on an undisclosed date. ‎   ‎ Nigeria are preparing for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers w...
