REMO STARS GAFFER HOPE FOR A BETTER RESULT IN AKURE AGAINST SUNSHINE STARS

Remo Stars Football Club (RSFC) after the loss of its goal keeper trainer, Late Muhammed Abdullahi Perez, will trade tackles with another southwest team, Sunshine Stars at the Akure Township Stadium in one of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Match Day 18.

Osho's men will hoping to extend their run of form going into this fixture against the Owena Waves when they play on Sunday Evening.

The Sky Blue Stars had earlier traveled to play both Shooting Stars and Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry Football Club (MFM FC) this season but resulted into getting just a point from them.

The host coming from a 2-1 defeat to FC Ifeanyi Ubah will ensure they get the maximum points over the Sky Blue Stars who have been unbeaten in four games.

A win or draw for the visitors will see them extend their unbeaten run to five games and will still be ahead of the host on the NPFL table.

This will be an interesting encounter because this is the first time both teams will meet in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

"We can do better climbing up the table." Osho

Technical Adviser of Remo Stars, Fatai Osho has indicated that the team can still do better climbing up the table with a victory over Sunshine Stars Football Club of Akure, Ondo State in one of Match Day 18 Fixture in the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

The Sky Blue Stars moved four places up the table after a hard fought 1-0 victory over Katsina United last weekend.

Osho and his men are optimistic getting the maximum points on the road after going four matches unbeaten in the league.

Speaking with RSFC Media, Osho says "Its good that we were able to push up the table with the last win and we believe we can still do better."

"We are optimistic climbing up the table and the only way we can do that is by amassing a lot of points. Our remaining matches in the first round are away games, we have to do everything possible to get points and continue to move up."

"The only reason we are going to Akure is to get maximum points, this is a professional game where you have to win all matches both home and away."

"We are still not comfortable with the position we are on the table, we have to try as much as possible to get points to be safe from relegation."

"We are unbeaten now in four games and we have to be very careful not to be complacent. We need to concentrate fully and keep working hard to ensure we keep getting points every time we play.' Osho insists.
