Newly Appointed 3SC Manager Agoye Picks Gullit As Assistant Coach



The newly appointed Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) manager Olamide Edith Agoye has picked coach Yinka Popoola popularly called Gullit as his assistant coach.

Popoola, before this appointment, was a coach with the club's U-15 team to last NFL - La    Liga Junior tournament in Lagos and he will join Kabiru Alausa and Lati Yusuf to complete the list of the Shooting Stars technical crew.

3SC will be competing in the country second tier division, Nigeria National League after they were relegated from the elite league last season. Coach Agoye main task is to return Oluyole warriors to elite division, Nigeria Professional Football League.

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, Monday evening in Ijebu-Ode, emerged the winner of the maiden Governor Dapo Abiodun Pre Season Tournament. The Ibadan soccer lords, overcame a struggling start to the tourney, held at the Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu-Ode, to pick the trophy, after a hard earned 1-0 win over hard fighting Delta Force. Cup holders Nigeria will defend their Africa U23 Cup of Nations title in Egypt in November after the Olympic Eagles secured a robust 5-0 win over their Sudanese counterpart in the final qualifying leg at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba on Tuesday evening.
