OSHO EXCITED WITH WIN OVER WIKKI TOURIST FC



Technical Adviser of Remo Stars Football Club, Fatai Osho has indicated that he is excited with the 2-1 victory over Wikki Tourist Football Club in Match Day 15 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Osho while speaking with the media indicated that despite the win, the team isn't still comfortable with it's position on the table.

"We feel excited because we worked to get the victory, you can see how much we fought to get the victory against Wikki Tourist who also have much quality in their team." 

"Wikki Tourist represented the country on the Continent and for us to have defeated them, it shows the zeal to turn the table around because we aren't really comfortable with our position on the table."

The victory is really motivating for us, the confidence is gradually coming and if we can do it against Wikki Tourist then it shows we can do it against any other team."

"We now need to be getting points on the road because this is the Nigeria Professional Football League, you get your results according to whatever the team plays."

The Sky Blue Stars next point of call is a trip to Enugu to trade tackles with Rangers International, the current champions of the Nigeria Professional Football League.

Cup holders Nigeria will defend their Africa U23 Cup of Nations title in Egypt in November after the Olympic Eagles secured a robust 5-0 win over their Sudanese counterpart in the final qualifying leg at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba on Tuesday evening.
