BE PATIENT WITH US AS WE ASSEMBLE A SOLID TEAM - BUSARI , BALOGUN UR



The duo of Shooting Stars Executive Chairman, Gbolagade Busari and the General Manager, Rahidi Balogun have urged the club's teeming fans to exercise patience as the team is building towards a solid and formidable team to be proud of before the end of the season.

This team's top executives gave this assurance during a live appearance on FreshFM Sports anchored by Saheed Babatunde and Kenny Ogunmiloro earlier on Tuesday the 14th February 2017.

The Chairman, said he is impressed so far with much of love exhibited by the fans since his appointment and this is serving as a tonic needed for him to do well and return the past glory of the club. "I was encouraged by the shower of love and the only thing is to reciprocate and take the club back to where it rightly belongs. We need everyone now to succeed and our doors are open for constructive criticisms and understanding, however; our fans should be patient for the coaches and players to give their best, he said.

 Busari, a veteran sports journalist also promised to make his experience in sport reporting to bear on the job with adequate attention to players well being. "We shall do our best  to make the players more comfortable for them to give their best, he concludes.

On his part, Rashidi Balogun, the General Manager revealed that the club is ready to make our fans happy by churning out good results week in week out while the player's welfare will be given utmost attention. He added that the club is getting ready for the newly introduced U-15 tournament by the LMC with the hope that Shooting Stars will soon be benefiting from the recent relationship with the Spanish La Liga. "The Tournament will serve as avenue for the club to discover young talents that would advance in their career and also be a source of financial benefits for the club in the nearest future, he concludes.
