OGUNMODEDE: "WE PLAYED AGAINST A GOOD SIDE".



Head Coach of Remo Stars Football Club, Daniel Ogunmodede who was announced the team interim manager after departure of his former boss Nduka Ugbade due to contract agreement, says his side played against a good team in the Match day 6 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Former MFM FC hitman Newman Musa scored in the 84th minute of through an Ifeanyi Ifeanyi cross to deny Remo Stars a chance of claiming a point on the road.

"We played against a good team and at the end of it all, Akwa United got what they wanted." Ogunmodede.

The youngest manager in the league continues, "We played a normal game and it's one of the things I expected, you play to either get a win, lose or draw. We lost today, we will do our homework to get better in our next game."

Remo Stars FC will played their next game at home against Niger Tornadoes FC on Wednesday at the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu.
