NPFL MATCHDAY SEVEN PREVIEW:- REMO STARS HOST NIGER TORNADOES



Remo Stars Football Club welcomes Niger Tornadoes to the Gateway International Stadium in the Match Day 7 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

The Sky Blue Stars lost 1-0 away to Akwa United over the weekend and will face the Ikon Allah boys to continue their fine form at home.

Remo Stars FC have enjoyed good run of form at home since the defeat to Plateau United in the first league game of the season.

Meanwhile, Niger Tornadoes FC have drawn their last two games, playing out a score draw against champions Enugu Rangers and Katsina United in Match Day 5 and 6 respectively.

Both teams have gathered 6 points from possible 18points, the Sky Blue Stars are ahead of the Ikoh Allah boys on goal difference.

This will be the first time Remo Stars FC and Niger Tornadoes will meet in any football competition.

Cup holders Nigeria will defend their Africa U23 Cup of Nations title in Egypt in November after the Olympic Eagles secured a robust 5-0 win over their Sudanese counterpart in the final qualifying leg at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba on Tuesday evening.
