Anthony Ujah Nets In Werder Bremen Away Win

Nigeria striker Anthony Ujah scored a goal and assisted another to help his club Werder Bremen to a 1:3 win at Hoffenheim in the German Bundesliga on Sunday.‎ 

The Super Eagles star set up Austrian midfielder Zlatko Junuzovic to give Bremen the lead in the 45th minute, but Hoffenheim were back on level terms four minutes after the break.‎ 

The score stayed that way until stoppage time when Bremen struck twice in a minute.‎ 

Ujah made it 1:2 in the 92nd minute and Junuzovic grabbed his second of the game a minute later to ensure the three points were in the bag.‎ 

The goal is Ujah's second in four games this season. ‎

Cup holders Nigeria will defend their Africa U23 Cup of Nations title in Egypt in November after the Olympic Eagles secured a robust 5-0 win over their Sudanese counterpart in the final qualifying leg at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba on Tuesday evening.
