Super Eagles midfielder John Obi Mikel played his first start of the season and made an assist for Chelsea FC only goal scored by Nemanja Matic ‎in the 3-1 lost to Everton FC. Mikel was on the field of play for 55th minutes.

Goalkeeper Carl Ikeme who made his Super Eagles debut in AFCON qualifier against Tanzania, was an unused substitute for Wolverhampton Wanderers as they lost 2-1 at Bolton.‎

Super Eagles captain Vincent Enyeama was between the stick for Lille as they played goalless with Lyon at Stade De Gerland , the match was watched by 31,137‎ spectators.

Elderson Echiejile was in action for his club Monaco as they beat Ajaccio 1-0 away from home. He played the entire duration of the game and was cautioned once.
Nigeria international defender Leon Balongun ‎was on the losing side in German side Mainz lost at Schalke 04 by 2-1. He played the entire duration of the game.
Anthony Ujah was among the goals for Werder Bremen as the defeat Hoffenheim 3-1 at their backyard and enjoyed 90minutes of play.
Defender William Troost-Ekong ‎saw action for the entire duration of the game as his Norwegian side Haugesund lost 5-0 at Stromsgodset.
Ahmed Musa played full game in CSKA Moscow's 2-2 home draw with Zenit St. Petersburg.
Rabiu Ibrahim ‎scored a goal in Trencin 5-3 win over Spartan Trnava in a Slovakia league game. He lasted the entire duration of the match.

Left back Kingsley Madu ‎played full game for Trencin in a 5-3 win.‎

Left back Juwon Oshaniwa ‎played for Hearts in a 2-0 loss at Inverness CT. He lasted for 87 minute when he was red carded, the first of his career.

Midfielder Ogenyi Onazi was an unused substitute for Lazio on a 2-0 win over Udinese. He will be available for the Eagles after serving out a match ban for his red card against Chad in June.‎
Midfielder Joel Obi ‎played for Torino as they drew 2-2 at Hellas Verona. He played for 51 minutes.

Right back Akeem Latifu ‎was on from start to finish for Aalesund in their 3-1 loss at Lillestrom.
Ce‎ntral defender Godfrey Oboabona played from start to finish for Rizespor as they drew 1-1 with Sivasspor.

Another central defender Keneth Omeroa ‎was in action for the full game as Kasimpasa lost 1-0 at home to Fenerbahce.

Midfielder Raheem Lawal was on the losing side as his Turkish Super League side Eskisehirspor ‎lost Antalyaspor 2-0 with Samuel Eto'o scored a brace. Lawal started and was substituted on the 69minute for Pinto.


Kehinde Fatai ‎was a 51st minute substitute for Sparta Prague in a 1-1 draw at Joblonec.‎

Brown Ideye ‎played for the entire duration for Olympiacos in a 3-1 win over Plantanios.‎
